Chad Calvert

Chad Calvert is currently manager of Government Affairs for Chevron in the Rockies, focusing on state policy, based in Denver.  He brings to the role more than 30 years of experience in energy and environmental policy at the state and federal level.  Prior to joining Chevron, he spent 13 years at Noble Energy and BP in similar roles.

From 1992 to 2007, Calvert worked in the United States Senate, the U.S. House of Representatives and as Deputy Assistant Secretary for Land and Minerals Management at the U.S. Department of the Interior in the George W. Bush Administration.  In these roles, Calvert worked on federal natural resource policy in both the legislative and executive branches.

He has a B.S. in economics from Georgetown University, a law degree from George Mason University in Virginia and is licensed to practice law in California.  He lives in Monument, Colorado with his wife and two young children.
