Brett serves as a Research Analyst. He is a doctoral student in economics at Colorado State University. Brett served 25 years in the U.S. Marine Corps, two terms as District Attorney for Moffat, Routt and Grand Counties, and eight years in the U.S. Department of the Treasury.
Brett recently completed a masters degree in economics at the University of Denver where he also did his undergraduate work. Brett’s law degree is from the Georgetown University Law Center.
As a volunteer, Brett has served with Team Rubicon in disaster response and preparedness, and with the Civil Air Patrol as a search and rescue pilot.
Brett looks forward to contributing to CSI’s analysis of Colorado’s most challenging economic and fiscal issues.
