Tyrone Adams, Colorado Association of Realtors

Tyrone is an experienced non-profit association professional with success in leading and conducting the directives of non-profit association’s Board of Directors.

He currently serves the CEO of the Colorado Association of REALTORS® (CAR), the states largest real estate trade association. Tyrone has served the Association industry for over 30 years in various capacities prior to assuming the helm as CEO of the Colorado Association of REALTORS in 2015.

In addition to implementing the directives of the Association’s Board of Directors, working with the CAR Leadership Council, managing the operations of the Association and its Foundation (CAR Foundation) and for-profit entity (CAR Business Services). He is also responsible for building and maintaining association, industry, business, and community relationships.

Tyrone continues to volunteer for multiple organizations including- mentoring business entrepreneurs, working with youth organizations and community outreach programs.

Tyrone has received national and state recognition from the National REALTOR Association (Bud Almon Smith Society), Denver Business Journal “Most Admired CEO” and various other community-based organizations for his contributions.

Tyrone is Denver Native and a graduate of the University of Northern Colorado majoring in Journalism with an emphasis in Advertising and minoring in Business Administration.

When not working he enjoys spending time with family and friends including his wife Stacey, children- Jasmine, Shaedon and Krystal, and grandchildren Tatum, Yvette and Elana.
